The Magic of Thermosensitive Ink

The secret lies in the friction heat. At the end of the FriXion Ball's barrel, there is a special plastic tip. Rubbing this over what has been written generates heat (from approx. 60 °C), which makes the ink invisible. The trick: in extreme cold (from approx. -10 °C in the freezer compartment), the effect reverses, and the writing reappears.

• Durable stainless steel tip: The conical tip is particularly pressure-resistant and ensures a smooth, even writing experience.
