aluderm®-aluplast - A special wound dressing. The aluderm® wound pad is aluminum-coated. aluderm®-aluplast does not stick to the wound, does not fray, is highly absorbent, and promotes skin formation and healing. Common wound dressings do not fall into the category of sterile dressings. Their usability, especially concerning adhesive strength, depends on the storage temperature. The adhesive strength of the plasters must be checked periodically.
