The SpeechMike Premium Touch is Philips' latest innovation. Equipped with a decoupled, studio-quality premium microphone, an integrated filter that minimizes ambient noise, an antimicrobial housing, and a motion sensor, it enables crystal-clear voice recordings for optimal speech recognition results. The new touch sensor for easier navigation allows you to work even more comfortably. The free-floating microphone is decoupled from the device housing, ensuring that almost no noise from background activities, touch, clicks, air, or structure-borne sound is picked up. This technology, derived from studio microphones, prevents sound distortion and optimizes speech recognition results. The specially designed hexagonal openings of the metal cover offer a surface area three times larger than the previous model, ensuring crystal-clear recordings. Non-woven fabric above and below the microphone capsule filters out sound distortions such as plosives or sibilance, enabling perfect recording results even when dictating close to the microphone. The SpeechMike Premium Touch is equipped with an extra-large loudspeaker, so that recordings made with it can be played back clearly and without interference. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the device fits perfectly in the hand, and operating errors are less frequent. The trigger and control button on the back of the device are positioned for easy reach with the fingers. The Philips SpeechMike Premium features an integrated motion sensor. It detects when it is placed on the table and mutes the microphone. As soon as you pick it up again, the microphone is reactivated. In addition, user-defined events can be programmed that cause the device to pause and resume recording. The device is equipped with a touch sensor.
