The BATTERY COMMANDER PRO BS1940 series is certified to VDMA 24994:2024-08 and designed to protect both life and property from the potentially catastrophic consequences of lithium battery fires. The safes provide a secure storage and charging solution tailored to lithium-ion batteries, mitigating the myriad risks posed by such batteries, such as thermal runaway due to temperature fluctuations, impacts, or manufacturing defects. Such hazards can lead to spontaneous combustion and violent explosions, posing significant challenges for firefighting. The BATTERY COMMANDER PRO BS1940 series offers maximum safety through its robust, double-walled construction, certified for fire resistance, impact resistance, and security. Three sizes are available, with key lock or electronic lock options. The safes are equipped with an integrated smoke detector, reinforced, insulated shelves, and integrated power distribution units (PDUs). In addition, all models feature a transport base to allow for easy transport within or, if necessary, out of the building.
